I was thinking about getting one for one of my geekier friends (Christmas present), but i'm somewhat lost on certain things...
No. 1 - So besides the cost for the device itself, what are other additional fees/payments would one have to pay?
No.2 - In regards to additional payments/fees what's the best way to go about paying for them? I mean do "they" send you a weekly or monthly statement saying how much you owe or do you just see something you like and then download it after paying a small fee via credit/debit card?
No. 3 - Apparently there's more then one "generation" of the Kindle device, are they vastly different and which is better or worse for what tasks?
No. 4 - Lastly, can you download and read comics, graphic novels, manga etc. on any of the Kindle devices?
