not born gay?

you know how people say that you are not born gay. then my question is how does one become gay. honestly it just kind of popped oup on me. now i understand gay people when they say that they were born like that.i just have a natural attraction to males. granted male and female. but still i had no control over it.i really don't want to be gay but i honestly think i was born like this. for those people who say you aren't born like this, how then does one become gay?
