"Nothing will change in the future: technology will advance, but we will still

have the same political, moral,? It is my opinion that if history is studied this statement is seemingly borne out, ergo when the future has passed this statement will proven yet again. However I would like to hear any opinions that either agree or disagree and more importantly why.

who controls the past controls the future, and who controls the present controls the past. So the future will be Only what those who have control of the present wish it to be.

I disagree.
Moral:
1. Fewer and fewer people have the 'standard' definition of morals today as people wake up to agnosticism or atheism to be far superior to any religion.
2. Morals are what the majority of people want them to be eg. (Gun laws, marriage equality, etc)

Politics:
1. Politics will change to suit the agenda of the presidential sponsors, the president is just a puppet for the elite.

I guess when you think about it, the positions of the elite will change but the overall power they wield over morals and politics won't. Thus concludes my opinion. The future is what the majority of us determines it to be

I think bathrooms, cars and airplanes and even I phones are changes worth having and not having to work 60 hrs a week just to get enough to eat is a big deal.
