When we woke up yesterday morning we had never heard of William Sledd; today, the former Gap manager from Paducah, KY turned professional gay is one of Yahoo's PEOPLE OF THE WEB. The "rising internet star" is "not a (fashion) victim," and may, in fact, be headed for these parts!

"What happens when you're not that guy in Paducah anymore? Will people still think you're cool?" "I'm that fabulous guy in New York," he says.
