My patient had an NPO order for 3 days now because he had a colon resection done.
And for my homework, I came up with the diagnosis of imbalanced nutrition r/t dietary restrictions
I just can't think of much interventions...
the doctor doesnt want anything in his colon, which is why he's on NPO. so i cant say, put him on a Feeding tube or such.
any help guys?
