Well my boyfriend and I have been going out since LAST Janurary 12th...(One year and one month) but it'll be a year and 2 months tomorrow...
We "celebrated" the 12th of every month and now we do the same, but we say its our one year, one month anniversary...

Are we wrong? it doesnt sound right? Lol...
I feel like anniversary should only be janurary 12th of every year?
but would that make it incorrect to celebrate the 12th of every month? How would we keep track of how long were together?

Ok im just confused lol help

Anniversaries are only once a year. It consists of the latin word "annus" meaing "year".

Well, you could just celebrate your "two-month" or "five-month" also to "keep track" (sorry, just sound ridiculous to me) of how long you've been together... I think a calendar is just fine, isn't it?

No prob. "Month-iversay's" are monthltly, on the 12th. But your Anniversary's are YEARLY on January 12th of each year.
