Some told me that dealerships turn back the mileage all the time on cars..CAN YOU TELL IF MILEAGE HAS BEEN TURNED BACK?

It is extremely hard to do on new vehicles because most of them are digital readouts.

Well, if they get caught, that's some serious trouble. I have no idea if it's even possible. I suppose it's possible though.

It is possible to turn back mileage. It's illegal. The best way to know is carfax.

The only legal way to do it is if you have a car with a dead cluster, you can then back one you got out of a junkyard. This is ok because you didn't change the vehicle mileage.
