ok, so I recently traded in my xbox360 but im worried about my xbox live acct not closing down and it will keep taking the montly charge out. I asked the guy at gamestop about that and he said they do a system whipe to all of their systems they get in and there should be no worry about it. My question is do I still need to cancel my xbox live acct so I dont get charged or what?
 
Yah cancel it. Even if they don't keep charging make sure. I'm sure they do still charge
 
Yes, you need to cancel the account. You can go to (https://login.live.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=11&ct=1252479889&rver=4.0.1532.0&wp=SAPI&wreply=https:%2F%2Fbilling.microsoft.com%2Fdefault.aspx&lc=1033&id=23240) log in and cancel the account that way. Otherwise they will charge you.
 
Id try cancelling it just in case, even if they wiped it. You never know.
