Ok, so I cannot get my 9 month old Pomeranian to quit whining in his crate.
He doesn't whine throughout the whole time, until it becomes daylight. When it comes daylight, he wants OUT OF THAT CRATE. He whines, and whines. I don't know if he needs to go to the bathroom or not. I know that he can hold it, because he does hold it if I ignore him.
He will whine, and whine, until I say something. If I say, "no" he will stop, but 10 minutes later, begin again.
He is in a crate at night. He is in the bedroom. Should I turn the crate, and cover part of it, so that he can't see me? Or would this make it worse?
Any advice will be appreciated! Thanks!
Kimmie- I spend at LEAST 6 hours a day playing/interacting with him. Also, I walk him for 1-2 hours, so that isn't a problem.
I'm expecting him to hold it 8 hours.
His crate is covered on all sides, accept the door.
