Ok this is my 6 day with my guinea pigs do you think they are ready to be picked up?

Ok i can sit by there cage and they will just run around and popcorn and today they just ate out of my hand so do u think they are ready to be picked up?

absolutely, If you've waited 6 days to hold them I would think they've had ample time to setttle in. Just move slowly and pick them up, then hold them close to you so they feel secure and not like they are going to fall. I think You've done great waiting almost a week to hold them. Just hold them for a few minutes each day and they will soon calm down and you'll have wonderful pets.

Of course. They would have been ready a few days ago aswell.

Try it for a few minutes, and the moment they seem to get worried or try to leave you, put them back.

You need them to associate love, treats and warmth with you, and if they are trying to leave then they have had enough.

their okay, you must pick them up to get used to you!!!
