Okay this may sound like a stupid question to you all but just asking for advice.
So Ive got a DVD recorder that allows me to use DVD+R/DVD-R discs to record, I'll be doing PS3 gameplay for my Youtube channel, so Im just wondering what format of disk allows me to edit the dater on the disc ? which I can use in a video editing programme.

Thank you

Those discs can only be used once. If you want to re use the disc, use a dvd-rw or dvd+rw. They can be erased over a hundred times.
Make sure you can use those in the recorder before buying
In the menu for recording, you should find how to edit, delete, add dates and titles.
