I thought it was awful. Completely agreed with Simon about the comment that half of Nashville was throwing their TV out the window. He can sing, but that wasn't country and he completely butchered an amazing classic country song. Really messed up version. I like the guy alright, but if he does that again I'll be happy to see him leave.
 
performance was my favorite tonight by far!? I L - O - V - E LOVED IT.

It was amazing, mesmerizing, and I think Simon was TOTALLY WRONG about the feedback that he gave. I could completely here that version of that song on a movie soundtrack, or on the local rock / metal stations on the radio, EASY!

I was never a huge Adam fan, I always thought he and Danny were a bit overrated, but Adam is now one of my favorites along with Matt.

I'm curious what everyone here thought about Adams performance since it was so mixed at the panel?

it was ok, but i thought it was kinda weird. well maybe it's just because i'm not into that type of music/style.
 
i agree w/you 100% accept i was always an Adam fan... and i think deep down inside, so is everyone else (almost anyway)
i mean, u see so much karoke performances, u just cant wait 2 see what ppl like Adam r gonna do- its a breath of fresh, original air. ok, creepy original air. but i still love it!
 
We dvr'd ours as well and watched it over and over! Cool! I can't figure Simon out some weeks. And usually he is my favorite judge. But for me, I can't wrap my head around what he said about Adam. They tell them, be current, be relevant... that is exactly what they got from him... and more! I am also nervous because I have been voting for him because of the judges - and so far NO busy signals - I really hope ppl vote for him. I'll tell you who I can't figure out... Meghan... She gets mad props - She was one of my favorites from hollywood week, but for me, she isn't all that. NOT as good as the judges said tonight...
 
I loved it. It kind of reminded me of the version that Dilana did on Rock Star SuperNova a while back. I wonder if that was his inspiration, unless hers was a cover. I don't know. I personally liked his better (though I loved Dilana),though. I thought he rocked it and his vocal range is insane. That was definitely the most interesting performance I've seen in the 8 years of Idol. And Randy Travis' reaction was priceless :p.

i mean i dint hear the origanal so i cant compare
but i thought that he, Anoop and Kris stood out!
 
So-so. Was it me, but was the camera-guy doing all these weird shots of him but not with the other contestants?

Kris Allen and Anoop Desai are my dark horses though.
 
No it wasn't.

He needs to stop screaming on every songs. The audience didn't even like it.

Adam needs to go.
