I saw a science fiction movie on television about fifteen years ago. Even then, the movie was outdated and a bit campy as I remember it. I can't remember very much, but if you can figure out which movie it was by these details (or even give a suggestion), please, please help me out. If you aren't sure, and just have a suggestion, feel free to offer it. Anything helps.
Details:
= Several individuals make up a traveling party, to some end. The begin in a swampy environment, I believe. They eventually end up in some sort of castle complex.
= I remember that a race of cyclops (at least, they were very strong) are given the ability to see into the future by some mischievous wizard (or group of wizards?). They are tricked, however. They are only given the ability to see the moment when they will die.
= Near the end, the character who is able to see the moment of his death gives his life to hold a door open-- allowing the main character to make it inside.
= In my memory, the movie is very Star Wars-esque but with many fantasy elements.
