I'm curious why Kate Middleton has not yet been given any sort of Title.

Since she has already wed Price William, the only name that is given her is by her family name, "Kate Middleton." I still remember all the hoop-lah that rang throughout the global-media-circles when Charles wed Diana. Shouldn't Kate deserve the same or even more attention?
Or is THE ROYAL ORDER still as staunch as it has been during the past many Centuries?
Or am I just not hearing the latest gossip (valid or other)?
 
Her titles are: "Her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Cambridge, Princess William, Countess of Strathearn, Baroness Carrickfergus".

She ceased to be "Kate Middleton" on her wedding day one year ago tomorrow.

She is being followed assiduously by the press. I don't know where you are, but in the UK, you can't get away from the coverage.
 
Protocol evolves very slowly. Prince William's wife is entitled by convention to use her husband's titles. Maybe, at a later date, she will be given titles in her own right.

she has been given a title ... Dutchess... she cannot become a princess untill charlie takes the throne.. when charlie is king..william will become the prince of wales and kate will become the princess of wales..like diana was..
