I have noticed I am a MUCH better driver when I don't talk and just focus on the road.
I am sure after a while I will get better at talking and driving but at the moment I am happy to just be in silence... so was just wondering does the examiner chat to you?

I have my test next Friday and I am worried I he's goin to ask me what I do for a living and I will fail lol.

Thanks in advance!!! x x x

I certainly don't recall mine chatting, just telling me what he wanted me to do. I think it could be construed as distraction if they were to chat - and distraction could cause an accident, so it's the last think they'll want to do!

It depends on the examiner, SOme like to chat and will and some prefer the test in silence. I prefer and drive better with a chatty examiner, If you get a chatty one just don't engage in conversation with them, you might seem rude but hey if you pass its worth it right? Besides, your not likely to see the examiner again if you pass. Its your test, you can choose whether to chat or not. Not chatting will not affect your result.
