once i've unzipped a .bin with winrar how do i burn it to a dvd using nero?

i dont know how to use nero but am trying to burn an old sega .bin file to a dvd. the .bin is about 3k MB so too big for a cd. once the dvd is burned, will it simply play using a windows program like windows media player?

Do I need to attach a usb sega controller?
