opel corsa car, how much to fix crack in engine?

Hi my opel corsa car was overheating and i took it to garage who have told me there is a crack in engine and it is now leaking water, they told me its probably not owrth fixing so iv left it there since last week, now im been told by few different people it can probably be fixed and wouldnt be too expensive,
Does anyone know how much something like this would cost??

I've already had few problems with this car and have had new battery, crank shaft and service done in nov also had mass air control valve done a few months before i dont really want to spend more on it if its going to cost me a fortune and then break down again after few weeks, Is there any mechanics on this who'd know if its worth getting fixed.

Your engine a gonna, but don't despair, you can get a replacement engine for around £1000. My friend did just this with a Rover 200 - the engine was an aftermarket replacement and not even made by Rover.Dependant on the age of the car, just sell it for breaking and get another one.
