Our dog is sick, could you help?

She is running a temperature. My husband gave her some stale chocolates two days ago. Could that be the reason?

maybe.. But chocolate is horrible for your dog! it can be fatal for your dog.

Hmm... I would take it to the vet

NEVER EVER!!!! feed your dog chocolate. You need to go and see a vet. Chocolate is very posionus to dogs.

Get your dog to a vet - no one can help you here, we're not vets and we can't even see your dog.

You need a vet - call and make an appt. asap.

That is highly likely the answer. Chocolate is like poison to dogs!! The the first signs of chocolate poisoning are vomiting and diarrhea, increased urination and nausea. These can progress to cardiac arrhythmias and seizures. If your dog eats potentially dangerous amounts of chocolate and you can get the pet to your vet within two hours, vomiting can be induced to remove the poison. If longer than two hours has passed (which has), the animal will need to be seen and treated.

Please take her to the vet ASAP.... and then smack your husband :P!

if she is running a fever shower her with cold water, chocolate is toxic to dog and can kill her or him. and if she running a fever you might want to rush he to the vet

Yes, chocolate is poisonous to dogs. I don't think she is running a fever though, all dogs are warm. My dog got into a box of chocolate on Valentines Day, she was fine. Don't freak out, just call your vet and ask for the some signs that she could be sick. I think she will be fine. Best wishes.

I doubt it,but I wouldn't give her anymore.Just call your vet in the morning and make an appointment,she could have some sort of infection.
