only...Does that exclude direcTV? Our lease for the house we are renting states no satellite dishes allowed, cable only...Does that exclude direcTV from centuryLink?
 
Back in 2011, they DirectTV isued a press release about offering services without a satellite.

I don't know whatever became of it, but if CenturyLink is trying to get you to bundle the services, ask them if it comes with a satellite. If they say yes, then you can't get it
 
Yes. Direct TV requires a dish be attached to the property and your landlord doesn't allow it.
 
its only a small dish . you could hide it in the garden if you can find a spot where the dish can still see the satellite in the sky. though this is no good near a highway if tall vehicles go past blocking the dish view of the satellite.
