My girlfriend and I have been dating 18 months and I see her and her parents almost every day since she lives at home. This morning, I slept over without her parents knowing and in the morning when she went to talk to her mom quick, her mom was telling her about this investment property they were gonna buy, but then she said with hostility not to tell me because I "run" and tell my parents everything and then she went on about her business is her personal business and how people will get jealous cause they have lots of money.
This is the second time Ive overheard her mom talking bad about me. The first time was in Hawaii when I was on holidays with them and she was saying how I was way to touchy-feely with her daughter and we were clinging to each other too much.
Other than these 2 instances, she acts like a second mom to me and buys me little presents or we have coffee and her parents come to my house for dinners and stuff and is always happy to see me. I've also overheard her raving about me on the phone to friends and stuff when I do stuff.
Do you think she has some underlying hostilities to me? I asked my gf and she said she loves me and everything, but hates how I tell my parents everything. Also, my parents wouldn't care less about what they do, they aren't the flashy type like my gf's parents who have the ferrari and everything...
