You hate Pachter. We love Pachter. So much so that we watch him. Often. Today, though, a little ray of sunshine is peeking through the windows of Kotaku Tower, as we get to listen to Pachter. He appeared on the latest Gamasutra podcast, and proceeded to get chatty about all kinds of stuff.
The highlights? His soothing tones. Very relaxing. The words don't matter, I just like the tone. After that, though?

I publish my monthly console and handheld hardware numbers because the NeoGAF guys think it's so fun.
I don't solicit all this press coverage. The press finds me. I think that the press finds me because I'm colorful, I'm not shy, I have an opinion and I frankly really don't care if someone agrees or disagrees with it. I'm willing to share.

You sure are, Pachter, and that's why we love you. Seriously, it's worth a listen, he's a fun guy and this is a great interview. You get to know where the dude's coming from. What makes him tick. And as such what really grinds all your gears. Luke Plunkett
