Ok well i'm going to buy a packard bell dot laptop and it comes with Windows vista home premium, i just want to know if it run fast with vista home premium

vista is great great software
runs amazingly
but there is a newer version of windows out called windows 7
i like it a lot better then vista works alot faster
but i recomend vista for the cost defficiant [vista is much cheaper]

There is ONE FLAW in your plan.........PACKARD BELL

Known to all as SCRAPYARD HELL............

No support after purchase except via the 'Tech Guys' and I would not trust them with a pocket calculator.......or via a Premium Rate phone number.

PB also put loads of junk software on their PC's that cause problems

I urge you to reconsider this purchase. At some point in the near future, you will regret buying one of these PB machines.

UNLESS - the company you buy it from agree to do a clean install of Vista for you and leaving out all the PB junk.....that is the only way I would consider even looking at a PB
