I've got a Trek Gritty 2011; a bike with no previous paint on it- just the metal frame. I was wondering if I still need to sand and apply primer before painting this bike, or if that would be a waste of time? I would like to eventually spray paint it, nothing all crazy and trendy, just a neutral black or grey. I would appreciate your input!
