Parents lose bid to keep baby alive?

What a place to be in.. God my heart aches for them.
I think i would much rather make that decision myself,if God forbid it had to be made.
Your thoughts please.
Yeah FiFi,i understand that,but wouldn't you rather make that decision yourself,than have a stranger do it..
think if it had to go to court,i'd back down to what they were telling me and do it for the sake of my child.
 
How do they know the baby is suffering pain? they are quick to say that aborting a baby is painless.
In this case the parents should have the last say not the flipping courts,we have seen how lenient sentences are passed by them on child molesters parents that abuse and murder their children.
 
If it were my child I'd fight 'til the death. Science doesn't know it all, that is why it's still in existence.
 
It's not fair to keep a severely poorly child alive just for the sake of the parents. It sounds as though the poor little baby wouldn't have had much of a life to look forward to and enjoy.

Unfortunately, sometimes you need to be cruel to be kind. As hard as it is.

I guess the courts had to decide to make the choice as the parents' feelings and emotions overtake the childs' bleak outlook for the future.

I totally understand where you're coming from "Busy Bee has man flu" and I honestly see your point. I just think in this situation sometimes the parent's logical thoughts about the needs of the baby are over shadowed by their desperation to keep their special little baby alive. Occasionally, heartbreaking though it is, you need someone on the outside to make a logical unbiased decision.
