I think it means jumping the queue or taking your turn when it isn't your turn yet... It's that kind of tour anyway. It's in this sentence, 'Maurice se débrouille pour qu’ils passent avant leur tour, trouvent le bon train et un endroit pour s’installer.' Any help to create a reasonable English version would be appreciated!
