The New England Patriots took on the struggling New York Jets. The Patriots got up early and showed no mercy. At halftime, New England led by a score of 35-3. Following an unwatchable second half, the Jets were finally put out of their misery by a final score of 49-19.
Tom Brady and his defense were the stars of the show. Brady finished with 323 passing yards along with three passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown. New England’s defense caused five turnovers and converted many of those turnovers into points.
As for the Jets, their season is basically over. At 4-7, the only question remaining is how long will it take to hand over the reins to Tim Tebow. Tebow will add some excitement but he won’t be able to do any miracles this year.
On the other hand, the 8-3 Patriots are just counting down the days until the playoffs begin.
