I have a question about law...
I am a senior in High School, and my Army Instructor supposedly "issued me" my JROTC uniform pants. I never got them however, because he told me I could leave them in the supply room due to me having 4 PE classes. So I left school and left them there, in the JROTC room, but when he went to look for them and he found that they were missing, he said I was finacially liable, and had to pay for them, despite them being in his JROTC room the entire time. I never once signed off on receiving them, however, and there is no proof that he actually had given them to me.
Do I legally have to pay him for them ?
