Though I’m not sure we need another Pirates of the Caribbean movie, Penelope Cruz looked as hot as ever at the photo call for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at the Cannes Film Festival.
Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Rob Marshall, this fourth Pirates film was captured in Disney Digital 3D this time. I’m sure On Stranger Tides will offer some laughs, and any Johnny Depp movie is usually worth the price of admission.
Penélope Cruz plays Blackbeard’s daughter, Angelica in the film. And Captain Jack Sparrow (Depp) isn’t sure if she’s a legit love interest or a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. The movie hits theatres on May 20. So far, the film franchise has grossed $2.68 billion worldwide.
