My son received a letter today for this program, P2P Sports Ambassador for soccer, I've checked out the website but I still have a few questions that I'm hoping someone who has gone can answer.
1) Does he have to tryout as part of the application process? my son is NOT the best soccer player in his league. He's good but there are definitely more talented kids out there.
2) How was he picked to receive this invitation.
3) If chosen, are parents allowed to travel with the team? My son is in the 5th grade and 11 years old. I can't imagine him traveling to Germany/Austria alone.
4) Is there just one team that represents the US or different age level teams? I don't think he'd play very well with or against 13-17 year old kids.
