I've been drumming for afew years now and I'm looking into avenues to take it further and to maybe become professional. I know that many people try this and it sometimes doesn't work but I'm just asking if I was seriously considering. Basically I love muscial theatre, but not having a good voice the only way I've seen I could maybe get involved is to be in the orchestras or bands. What I'm really asking is is there any college or school that specialises in drumming or percussion courses to show you a wide range of percussion instruments and styles of playing.
I've looked into drum tech and The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance and they both look good but I wondered if there is any others out there?
