do you use this formula P= I * V?
i put 200=120I?
and i got 1.667
also what would the resistance be?
and if the fuse on the circuit breaker can only take 10 amps, will plugging in your stereo blow the fuse if you also plug in your in disco ball that draws 60 watts of power.

yes, you can use P=IV

so, I=P/V
I=200 W / 120 V
I=1.67 Amps

not a mammoth amount of current, but more than enough to cause a fire if improper wiring is used (not an issue if building standards are followed) and also more than enough to kill you.
