PLace that will pick up your car and pay you for it.....?

Is there a place in Winston-Salem North Carolina that will pick up old used cars and pay the owners or whatever for them my mom has about 2 that wont run and she wants to know?

Lots of places will take old cars, you must have the title though. If you don't have titles to the cars, you must apply for them. If the cars are not in your name, you must locate the owners and go about title transfer from that angle. If they are abandonded, your state will have certain rules/laws that must be followed to have the cars removed from the property. Now, don't expect anyone to give you top dollar for these cars, if anything, sometimes people have to pay someone to take old rusty bucket cars, but they can be gotten rid of.

Call your local wrecking yards . Some will pay a nominal amount to pick vehicles up.

It's not a place, it's people. The cost of scrap metal is extremely high. There are people prowling around looking to buy old cars. Lots and lots of people. They will advertise in any kind of classified ads where you are allowed to advertise free or cheaply. So look for their phone numbers there.

In winston-salem, look in the Iwanna classifieds.

Junk yard will always be willing to pay anywhere from $100-$350 for cars that don't work ( give or take depending on the problems)
Or there are services like the special Olympics that will tow it away free and give you a tax refund instead of cash- just some food for thought.
