Playing DVD from England?

I purchased a DVD from England, but I wasn't sure if the DVDs there are Region 2. If I purchase a Region free DVD player or a multi region DVD player will I be able to watch the DVD?

Can I play a British DVD on an American Playstation 3 system?
"Shore" is spelled incorrectly and you do not seem to understand the question. The DVD is Region 2 (England). If I buy a Region Free/Region 0 or multi regional DVD player, will it work?
 
British DVD's are normally made in the PAL format,
which is incompatible with the American NTSC system,
so even if the disc is region-free, it probably won't work.
