playstation 3 bluetooth set up not working?

I am trying to set up a bluetooth headset for hubby. It id a jabraBT8010. It works w/ his ceel phone, but can not get it on the PS3. In the instruction manual it says that setting up a second device may require repeating the set up process. Well I have tried more than twice it is not working. It says it connected, twice it has shown up on call of duty 4 as having a headset, but can not talk or hear other headset players talking. In the set up menu w/ volume to test it, nothing. I don't know what is going wrong followed the manual set up to the tee. Also have seen other answer saying they are using the jabra BT8010 so I know it is compatable.

Have you pressed the accept call button on the side, you may have to do that. If not, then try and relink the headset and PS3. If that doesn't work then sorry but i dont have any other solutions.

If it has been paired before you shouldn't have a problem. Sometimes on call of duty 4 i'll turn on my headset and it doesn't show that I have one connected and everybody will be talking through the tv. Just push the power button once on the headset and it should work. That's what I do and then it'll connect me.
