PLEASE HELP!!!! How can i introduce my new puppy to my current dog?

i have a pug chihuahua (chug) mix that is 6 years old and im getting a chihuahua maltese mix (malchi)
my pug isnt very good with other dogs so im scared and shes also very spoiled and might get jealous. i just dont want her to feel neglected and the new puppy(also a female) is about the size of two hands together i dont want them to fight i love my pug but my parents have decided to get this pup tomorrow plz help and nothing negative plz we r already getting the dog tomorrow so please something useful thanks so much!

That situation would be difficult if it's not handled correctly like what I did with my pups too. However, I'll give you some tips on how you will introduce your new pup to your pug.Good luck!

1. Dont bring your pug when you pick up your new pup
2.Let the new dog check out the surroundings when you get home, before you go inside
3. Leave the new dog out front (supervised, of course), go inside and pet your current pets again, so they get the new puppy's scent
4. After 20-30 minutes, the new dog has explored quite a bit and your other pets are getting antsy (and you probably are too, just wondering what they've done to your bedroom!)
5. Let your other pets out of the room
6. If after an hour, you are satisfied with everyone's behavior, let the new dog out.
7. Do not favor the new dog
8. Also prepare a place in your house with some chew toys and a bed.
