Please help! How do I delete an old Myspace account?

I just discovered that my Myspace account from 8th grade is still alive and well.I no longer want ANY association with Myspace and I want privacy. I want to delete the account. The catch is, the account is under a yahoo email that was deactivated years ago with a password I cannot remember for the life of me. Is there anyone I can contact who can help me access the account so I can delete it once and for all?
