computer doesnt recognize it? Okay, so this is urgent!! Help.. I purchased a Kingston Data Traveler 100 version 2.0 flash drive (4gb) and I plugged it into my USB port on my computer (Windows 98 but has been upgraded to XP (2years ago) .. anyways, when I plug it in the balloon pops up and says that the device is not recognized. How can this be? I tried everything that the computer suggested; I tried to update the driver, search for update, etc..
I plugged the same flashdrive into my laptop (XP) and the laptop recognized it right away.. any suggestions??
I really need to get some files off my desktop soon.. especially alot of my pictures. my desktop is almost 10 years old. (its been upgraded though) and I want to get my 1300 pictures off of it before it crashes and im out of 3 years of pics of my kids.
