here is the deal, I had problems with iTunes not recognizing my iPod so i un-installed it and now I it wont let me re-install it!
What happens is, when I open itunessetup.exe and start to install it this message pops up all the time but in different stages of the installation
"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."
here is what I've tried already:
- installing it about 20 times
- Re-registering the Windows Installer service through safe mode
- updated windows installer
-run a clean up on windows installer
- run a virus scan
and I'm slowly running out of options other than re-installing windows which i don't have I need some more suggestions!!!

lol yeah i forgot to mention i have downloaded and tried installing iTunes 8.2 twice and it still doesn't work!!
its so annoying because a simalar thing has happened to my whole office suite???
I really don't know what to do??
