Yesterday my computer randomly refused to connect to the internet... or so i thought...
I have tried Opera... i get the error message:

Failed to reach Dealer
On IE i don't get any messages like that but it takes me to the window that says:
Internet Explorer cannot display the web page
Likely causes:
* You are not connected to the Internet
(you get the picture)
i clicked Diagnose problem and i get the message:
"Windows didn't detect any problems with your Internet connection"
and i tried logging into Mxit (an IM that obviously makes use of the internet) and it logged in and works fine.
I have also tried pinging sites from cmd. I pinged google.com, facebook.com, mweb.co.za, facebook.com, and got responses from each and each have a 0% data loss.
The connection is therefor defiantly present, and im using my dads laptop though the same router... AND my computer is connected with 2 network cables (and yes i have also tried disconnecting one of the two ethernet ports from the router)
I have also rebooted the computer several times and reset the router
Can anyone help me fix this?
