plenty of seeders, but slow download on bittorrent!?

ok, i copied these stats off one of the files i am downloading. how come i am connected to 27 seeders, but am only getting 0.6 down speed? this happens on nearly all of the files i download. I just did a broadband speed test, and got a download speed of 1.2 mbps, so what is the problem? Please help!

Try a different torrent first
Forward the suggested ports (Bittorrent is 6881-6889)
Check any security programs to make sure it is unrestricted (especially NOD32)
Check your firewalls to make sure it allows bittorent
Also I see you uploaded over a gig of this file. Set a cap on you uploads if you can and give your download top priority and unlimited speed if bittorent has that option I know uTorrent does.
