Police clash with protesters after Netherlands imposes lockdown

Police in the Netherlands blasted protesters with a water cannon after the country imposed a new partial lockdown amid soaring Covid cases. Around 200 people gathered at the Hague where they threw rocks and set of fireworks on Friday night as Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte announced the measures. Footage of the incident shows dozens of protesters sat on the ground before riot police turned a water cannon on them.
