I used to think I was allergic to everything around me, pollen / dust etc. But recently I took a course of antibiotics for something and my 'allergies' cleared up. After 20 years of allergy meds! After about a month I got into some bad dust and a couple days later all of a sudden everything made me sneeze and every bit of dust that I got in a scratch caused a severe reaction. I gave it two weeks to clear up on it's own but it was just like the old days. So I started the Amoxicillin again and wham, it all cleared up and i don't seem sensitive to anything.
So, my theory is that there's some organism around here that starts living in my sinus and my body reacting to that makes me hyper sensitive to everything.
But the moral of the story is just because your doctor says you have allergies and you're reacting to everything as if you're allergic to it doesn't mean that's the case. Try a course of antibiotics to see.
