I have a 2000 Hyundai Sonata v6. It had a misfire on cyl 5. I replaced plugs and wires and surge tank gasket (have to pull it to get to plugs) The misfire was still there. I let it go as I am broke and very busy. Well as its gotten colder my car has gotten worse. I have to let it run for a good 5-10 min before it will move without stalling out. Well lately its been making a horrible popping noise from the engine under acceleration. Every time it pops I lose more power. The car is a pig now. Extremely difficult to get up to speed. I dont know how to explain this noise.. It feels more extreme than a backfire. Im trying to try every possible cheap option and opinion before resorting to buying a new car and giving up on this thing. I took it to get the codes pulled and it said misfire cylinder 2 and 5 and also had a random misc misfire code. Coil packs and most other parts are pretty expensive by the way. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Those are signs of a restricted exhaust, usually a broken down catalytic converter.Put your hand over the exhaust outlet and note if it is pulsating [good] or exiting in a steady and weak hot stream [bad].
