Life isn't just about passing on your genes. We can leave behind much more than just DNA.
Through speech, music, literature and movies... what we've seen, heard, felt ...anger, joy
and sorrow... these are the things I will pass on. That's what I live for. We need to
pass the torch, and let our children read our messy and sad history by its light.
We have all the magic of the digital age to do that with. The human race will probably
come to an end some time, and new species may
rule over this planet. Earth may not be forever,
but we still have the responsibility to leave what traces of life we can. Building
the future and keeping the past alive are one and the same thing.
"You gas up the marker, put on the gloves, strap on the mask,
and walk onto the field with your head held high,
and it doesn't matter that you failed a test, didn't get the girl,
or that you got a ticket on the way there.
Your world is right for the next couple of hours."
"Cherish Your Memories For you cannot Relive them"-Bob Dylan
“Life is for the living. Death, too, is for the living.
If you are fascinated or entertained by death,
make the most of it while you’re alive. When you really are dead,
it won’t hold any interest at all.” - Anton Szandor LaVey
"I am the Flail of God. If you had not committed great sins,
God would not have sent a punishment like me upon You." Ghengis Khan
"When you are not practicing, remember, someone somewhere is practicing,
and when you meet him he will win." - Ed Macauley
