So I had a dream my youth pastor tried to rape me. He's 36. Then the next day he texted me and told me he had a crush or feelings for my friend in our youth group.. she's barely 16. I know he's a freak.. but was the dream I had like a.. premonition?

It could be. I've always believed that dreams can give us insight into our futures so long as we know what to look for. So it could very well be a premonition so to speak. I wouldn't be too concerned about the rape portion at the moment... as it could have just been symbolism for his feelings for the girl. (One sided, not returned, taboo, forbidden.) However, I would DEFINITELY tell an adult about his feelings for her. Regardless of whether he acts on his feelings or not, that's straight up creepy.

Probably not - when a guy likes a girl, they are usually not good at hiding it, and girls are usually well attuned to detecting it. So both you and your friend probably had suspicions about this guy and it influenced your dreams.

By the way, if you are being accurate and this youth pastor actually sent this text, this is highly inappropriate and possibly illegal. Please show this text message to your parents as soon as possible.
