Pressure on Brown to cap bankers bonuses... should he get a move on?

Basically, as far as I know, we are about to have a lot of central London banks announce their bonuses to staff imminently... Should Gordon be brave and follow Barrack Obama's example to put a cap on the bonuses?

It was reported today that there is some pressure from Darling, stating "cap bonuses or no more public money" - too right!!!!!

So, will it be enforced? Will it even help?
 
How come they get bonuses when they are running at a lose. No profit no fat bonus. Brown should stop the lot and if they do pay them out stop futher help its are money.
