A new hybrid printer has simplified the process of making implantable cartilage, researchers from Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine reported in the journal Biofabrication. The authors explained they have achieved a major breakthrough in the printing of 3D tissue. With their system, cartilage is "printed".
