Problem About an MKV Video?

I downloaded Ouran High School Host Club on megaupload and saved it on my videos. When I'm trying to watch it on my laptop, it opened on ''Windows Live Movie Maker''. I clicked play and it only showed a black screen. I doesn't shows anything at all and I can't hear anything. I waited for about 3 hours for that video just to be downloaded. So, I really need help! What are the possible solutions for my problem? What should I do? Please help! Thanks in advance. =)
