I have tried putting my destructive dog in one room to herself. She chews on wt ever is near her. (wood, counter tops, door,) I take her with me everytime I go in a different room. If not, I put her on a tie in the living room and give her a kong toy. When I catch her chewing on something she shouldn't I tell her NO, and put her on the tie w/o the kong. I have tried one of those head thingys but I don't like that she can't eat or drink with it. I tried a muzzle but she just tears it off. (Found out earlier it was a bad idea to start with). I have to put a protective mat under her kennel bc the dog that sleeps with her pee's in the cage. She is constantly using her paws to pull the protective mat in the cage with her and chew it to shreds. I'm fixing to enroll in obendeinces classes this coming sat. Can any one help until then?
Also, most of the behavoir doesn't happen until I leave the room. If i turn my bk for a min she is already into something. I increased her walks to 3 times a day for 30. Play one on one fetch in the back yard. Make her work for treats by sitting, laying down, and rolling over.

she's stressed when not with you do simple exercises with her daily to calm her and show her your alpha also dogs mirror you r actions if you r stressed so is she same with every emotion plus i bet she's young so it could be a phase but don't put your money on that i'd contact a trainer to help you through it not a group class 1 0n 1 she also obviously needs much more exercise

She may have seperation anxiety. Or she may be a lab. lol. If she isnt a lab, let me suggest a variety of toys. Dogs get bored with the same toy very quickly. Also, when catching her chewing on something naughty, tell her no, remove her from it, and place a squeaky toy or a kong treat toy in front of her and get her interested in it. Do this every time you catch her, and eventually she will get the message.
