Around 8 last night (Monday, June 14) the remote for TV 2 stopped working. I changed the batteries and checked the antenna thinking those might be the problem, but nothing works. It is set to UHF, so it should work anywhere in the house, but it only works when it is pointed at the Receiver box in the basement (and sometimes if you point it at just the right location in the living room.)
I contacted tech support, who said that there was something that was causing interference. The only thing that has changed in the last week or so was I got a new TV, which I got and hooked up on Sunday. If there was something causing problems, I'm guessing it should have been a problem before last night. They could not explain why it wasn't a problem right away.
After thanking them for nothing, I decided to pose the problem to the only people I know who could help, the internet. Anyone have any ideas?
